I’ve always had a bit of an obsession with Christmas. A few years ago I painted a fabric advent calendar for my god-daughter, and it went down so well (with her and her parents) that I started making them for other people too.

Each calendar is hand painted and completely personalised. I love the weird, wonderful and very specific ideas people come to me with — the little details that mean something to the family and make it feel truly theirs. I’ve painted everything from family traditions and favourite places, to beloved children’s book characters like the Gruffalo and Paddington.

They’re made from fabric and designed to be brought out year after year — a proper Christmas keepsake rather than something disposable.

If you’d like, I can also help with stocking fillers for the pockets. I’m very happy to come up with ideas — crafty, scavenger-hunt style, arty, outdoorsy… pretty much anything goes.
